Head Coach

Chava is the Head Coach of Perfect 10 Diving and has represented Australia as a Diving Coach at four Olympic Games; Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000, Beijing 2008 and London 2012. Coached Matthew Mitcham for that unforgettable Golden Olympic Moment in which Matthew won the Men’s platform event with that history making “perfect 10” last dive to win Gold for Australia at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Retired Alexandra Croak and Melissa Wu (Both Perfect 10 Divers) are one of the most prominent pairs in the synchronised 10m platform in the world today, taking Silver in the 2010 World Cup and the 2011 World Championships. Melissa Wu took out the bronze medal in the individual 10m-platform event at the 2010 World Cup.

Joel Rodriguez

Senior Coach

Joel as a diver attended to two Olympic Games Atlanta 1996 and Sydney 2000. Silver medal at the World Championships in Fukuoka, Japan. Joel has further embraced his enthusiasm for diving through coaching and using all his vast international experience as a competitor he then moved on and become a very successful coach. He was one of the national coaches in Mexico then moved to America where he coached in Coral Springs and Ft. Lauderdale in Florida. Finally moved to Sydney in 2007.

Genevieve de la Motte

Genevieve de la Motte

Level 1 accredited coach

Genevieve de la Motte is a level 1 accredited coach and level 2 judge at Perfect 10 Diving. She has been diving for Perfect 10 for 7 years and is a current NSWIS scholarship holder and national representative. She has competed at an Elite international level and is part of the Australian Junior Elite Squad.

Genevive has represented Australia in various international competitions and she is currently 5th in the World Junior Championships.

Kevin Chavez

Kevin Chavez

Level 1 accredited coach

Kevin was a member of Mexico’s Institute of Sport diving program for 7 years and a member of the Mexican National squad for 5 years.

Kevin was a member of the Australian Olympic team in Rio de Janeiro 2016 and he was the Bronze medalist at the FINA World Championships in Barcelona Spain.
He is been in Australia for more than 2 years now and he has won for Australia a couple of international medals.
